Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shrub Planter to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and beautifying outdoor spaces using a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cultivate soil for planting shrubs and other landscape plants.
- Plant, water, and fertilize shrubs to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize hand and power tools for tasks such as trimming, mowing, and raking.
- Install and maintain sprinkler systems for efficient irrigation.
- Apply mulch and other materials to enhance soil quality and plant health.
- Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment and tools.
- Identify and manage pests and diseases affecting shrubs and plants.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscape projects on schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in landscaping or horticulture preferred.
- Proven experience in landscaping and shrub planting techniques.
- Strong knowledge of plant care, including watering, fertilization, and pest management.
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
