Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Perform specialized slaughtering tasks in accordance with halachic guidelines and health regulations.
- Prepare and cut standard and premium cuts of meat for retail and wholesale distribution.
- Produce specialty products such as sausages, ensuring quality and flavor profiles meet customer expectations.
- Wrap and package meat products for sale, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, following all sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in meat preparation and processing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shochet or in a similar role within the meat processing industry.
- Certification or training in kosher slaughtering methods and animal welfare standards.
- Strong knowledge of meat quality, cuts, and preparation techniques.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using meat processing equipment.
- Ability to adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle various meat preparation tasks.
