Job Brief

As a Senior Naval Parachutist, you will lead and supervise tactical operations specialists in executing high-stakes airborne missions. You will coordinate parachute training, oversee jump operations, and ensure team readiness for various maritime and land-based missions. This role requires extensive experience in parachuting techniques, military operations, and the ability to mentor and guide junior personnel in challenging environments. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all tactical operations specialists to ensure mission readiness and effective execution of airborne operations.
  • Conduct parachute jumps and oversee training exercises to maintain team proficiency in parachuting techniques and safety procedures.
  • Evaluate and implement operational plans, ensuring compliance with military standards and safety regulations.
  • Mentor junior parachutists, providing guidance and support in both training and operational environments.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with airborne operations, ensuring all safety measures are in place and adhered to.
  • Collaborate with other military personnel and units to strategize and execute joint mission operations.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure parachute gear is operational and compliant with industry standards.
  • Document and report operational outcomes and training progress to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a parachutist or in a related tactical operations role within the military.
  • Completion of advanced parachutist training and certifications, including military freefall and static line jumping.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of military operational procedures, safety protocols, and risk management strategies.
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to meet military standards for parachuting.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to undergo further training and assessments as required by the role.
