Job Brief

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a food and beverage establishment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability and efficiency. This role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in the restaurant industry, along with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of food service operations, staff management, and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily restaurant operations, including front and back-of-house management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales growth.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain high performance and promote a positive work environment.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement processes to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor and analyze restaurant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service and product availability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and managing budgets effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training preferred.
