Job Brief

As a Ranch Hand, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of livestock management, ensuring the health and well-being of various farm animals, including cattle, sheep, swine, horses, and poultry. Responsibilities

  • Feed, water, and care for livestock, including cattle, sheep, goats, and equines.
  • Monitor animal health and behavior, identifying signs of disease or injury.
  • Assist in birthing processes and ensure the well-being of newborn animals.
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and insecticides as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care, feeding schedules, and health inspections.
  • Herd and graze livestock in open range and assist with moving animals as needed.
  • Clean and maintain animal housing areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Perform specialized tasks such as shearing sheep, castrating, branding, and collecting eggs.
