Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role within the agricultural industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
- Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor relations.
- Knowledge of agricultural products, supply chain logistics, and pricing strategies.
- Certifications in supply chain management or procurement (e.g., CPSM or CPIM) are a plus.
