Job Brief

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pulmonologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience diagnosing and treating respiratory diseases and conditions, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The Pulmonologist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct thorough examinations, and utilize advanced diagnostic tools. Key skills include exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and proficiency in pulmonary function tests and bronchoscopy.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, and lung cancer.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as spirometry, chest imaging, and bronchoscopy.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and clinical guidelines.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in pulmonary medicine and best practices.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating respiratory diseases.
  • Strong understanding of pulmonary function tests, imaging studies, and therapeutic procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Current state medical license and DEA registration.
