As a Promotor(a), you will play a crucial role in promoting health within the community by assisting individuals in adopting healthy behaviors. Responsibilities

- Implement and coordinate health programs aimed at improving community health outcomes.
- Deliver health-related preventive services, such as screenings for blood pressure, glaucoma, and hearing.
- Collect and analyze data to identify and address community health needs effectively.
- Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to promote health education and resources.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals seeking health-related assistance and information.
- Participate in community outreach events to raise awareness of health issues and available services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in community health or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with health promotion strategies and community outreach techniques.
- Basic knowledge of health screening procedures and preventive health services.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis for community health assessments.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid or other relevant health certifications may be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel within the community to reach target populations.
