Job Brief
As a Produce Department Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of retail sales workers within the produce department, ensuring high-quality standards and excellent customer service. Responsibilities

- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in budgeting and financial reporting for the produce department to meet financial goals.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers in the produce section.
- Collaborate with other department supervisors to ensure a cohesive retail operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably in the grocery or produce sector.
- Strong knowledge of produce products, quality standards, and best practices for handling fresh produce.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and customer feedback.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and retail software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or retail management is a plus.
