Job Brief
As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children. You will implement developmentally appropriate curricula and lesson plans focused on promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Ideal candidates have a passion for early childhood education, possess strong communication skills, and have experience engaging young learners in meaningful activities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Facilitate a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Assess and document children’s progress and development through observation and assessments.
- Promote social skills and emotional development through guided play and collaborative activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support children’s growth and learning.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
- Stay current with educational trends and best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- State certification or licensure in early childhood education.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
