Job Brief
As a Potato Chip Frier, you will operate and tend to various cooking equipment, including deep fry cookers and pressure cookers, to prepare high-quality potato chips. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor cooking equipment, including deep fryers and steam cooking vats, to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
- Follow specified cooking times and temperatures to achieve consistent product quality.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and safety compliance.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cooking equipment to prevent downtime.
- Record production data and report any issues to the production supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary training is a plus.
- Proven experience in a food production or culinary role, preferably with frying equipment.
