Job Brief
We are seeking a talented Portrait Painter to create original artwork that captures the essence of individuals using a diverse range of media and techniques. Proficiency in various painting mediums, such as oil, acrylic, or watercolor, along with experience in portraiture is essential. Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, original portrait paintings using various media, including oil, acrylic, and watercolor.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences for portrait artwork.
- Utilize advanced techniques in composition, color theory, and anatomy to produce lifelike representations.
- Maintain a professional studio environment and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Exhibit artwork in galleries or online platforms to showcase portfolio and attract potential clients.
- Continuously refine artistic skills and stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
- Participate in community art events and workshops to engage with fellow artists and the public.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Portrait Painter or similar role with a strong portfolio of completed works.
- Proficiency in various painting techniques and media, including but not limited to oil, acrylic, and watercolor.
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and human anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Fine Arts or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with digital art techniques and software is a plus.
