As a Poker Dealer, you will be responsible for operating table games, facilitating a fair and enjoyable gaming experience for players. Responsibilities
- Operate poker tables, dealing cards and managing game flow for players.
- Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and house rules during gameplay.
- Distribute winnings accurately and efficiently, collecting players’ money or chips as necessary.
- Monitor player actions and compare hands to determine winners and losers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a friendly atmosphere at the table.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of game activities.
- Address player inquiries and resolve disputes professionally and promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; casino dealing certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Poker Dealer or in a similar role within a casino environment.
- In-depth knowledge of poker rules, strategies, and gaming procedures.
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculating payouts and managing bets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with players effectively.
- Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced gaming environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with gaming software and equipment used in poker games is a plus.
