Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team, responsible for assembling, installing, altering, and repairing pipelines or pipe systems that transport water, steam, air, and other liquids or gases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing installation and maintenance, with experience in heating and cooling equipment, mechanical control systems, and sprinkler fitting. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install piping systems for water, gas, and other liquids and gases.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, making necessary repairs and modifications.
- Install and maintain heating and cooling systems, including HVAC components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and general contractors, on construction projects.
- Document all work performed and provide estimates for plumbing services as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the plumbing industry.
- Valid plumbing license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the plumbing industry.
