Job Brief
The Plating Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and tending plating machines that coat metal or plastic products with various metals such as chromium, zinc, copper, cadmium, and nickel. Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate plating machines for optimal performance in coating processes.
- Operate plating machines to coat products with specified metals, ensuring uniform application.
- Monitor the plating process, adjusting parameters as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plating equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with specifications.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in plating or metal finishing is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Plating Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Strong understanding of electroplating processes and metal coating techniques.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including work orders and safety manuals.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments and quality control tools for inspection.
