Responsibilities

- Perform routine tasks such as setting up treatment equipment and preparing therapy materials.
- Monitor and record patient progress under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Support patient mobility by assisting with transfers and exercises as instructed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols during therapy sessions.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to facilitate a positive therapeutic experience.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or physical therapy preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the direction of physical therapists.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining treatment areas.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift or assist patients as required.
- Basic knowledge of physical therapy procedures and practices is advantageous.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
