Job Brief
The Photocopying Equipment Repairer is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of photocopying machines, duplicating equipment, and electronic office devices, including fax machines and automated teller machines (ATMs). Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on photocopying equipment and electronic office machines to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose technical issues and malfunctions in photocopiers, fax machines, and other electronic devices.
- Install and configure new photocopying machines and related equipment for end-users.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on proper usage and care of photocopying equipment.
- Maintain inventory of repair parts and tools necessary for equipment servicing.
- Document all service activities, including repairs performed and parts replaced.
- Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers for advanced repairs and warranty services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in photocopying and office technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a photocopying equipment repairer or similar role in the office equipment industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of photocopiers, duplicators, fax machines, and related electronic devices.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques for office machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid technician certification or equivalent technical training is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
