Job Brief
As a Photo Retoucher, you will be responsible for enhancing and perfecting photographic images from both film and digital media. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality photo retouching and editing to enhance visual appeal.
- Utilize software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for image manipulation.
- Conduct color correction, exposure adjustments, and image compositing.
- Collaborate with photographers and creative teams to align on project goals.
- Maintain consistent quality and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Prepare images for print and digital formats, ensuring optimal resolution and quality.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and techniques to enhance retouching skills.
- Manage and organize image files for easy retrieval and processing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Photo Retoucher with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).
- Solid understanding of color theory, composition, and photography principles.
- Ability to perform detailed retouching tasks, including skin retouching and background alterations.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in photography or digital editing are advantageous.
