Job Brief
The Personnel Scheduler is responsible for efficiently compiling and recording employee time and payroll data to ensure accurate payment processing. Responsibilities
- Compile and record employee time and payroll data accurately and efficiently.
- Compute employees’ hours worked, including overtime, commissions, and production metrics.
- Prepare and issue paychecks while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage payroll deductions and ensure accurate postings of wages.
- Maintain employee records and payroll documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with HR and management to resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries.
- Utilize payroll software and systems to automate scheduling and payroll processes.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and summaries for management review.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in payroll processing or personnel scheduling.
- Familiarity with payroll software and scheduling tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to payroll and scheduling.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
