Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dentist with a passion for providing exceptional dental care to children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young patients, possess strong clinical skills, and demonstrate the ability to create a comfortable and positive dental experience. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients and their families about oral health, and implementing preventive care strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat various pediatric dental conditions, including cavities, malocclusion, and dental trauma.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures in a safe and effective manner.
- Educate children and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Monitor the growth and development of children’s teeth and jaws.
- Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.
- Active dental license in the state of practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient education and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively with children and manage their anxiety during dental procedures.
- Knowledge of the latest pediatric dental techniques and technologies.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry advancements.
