Responsibilities
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit designated areas accurately.
- Install parquet flooring using proper techniques, ensuring alignment and durability.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their flooring needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and materials to enhance installation processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns during the installation process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Parquet Floor Layer or similar role in flooring installation.
- In-depth knowledge of various flooring materials, including wood, laminate, and tile.
- Strong understanding of installation tools, techniques, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
- Certification in flooring installation or related field is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
