Job Brief
The Parking Meter Attendant is responsible for enforcing parking regulations within assigned areas, including public parking lots and city streets. Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned parking areas to monitor compliance with parking regulations.

- Provide clear and courteous communication to motorists regarding parking rules and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of citations issued and vehicle information.
- Respond to inquiries and complaints from the public about parking issues.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and city officials as necessary to ensure compliance.
- Report any maintenance issues related to parking meters and signage.
- Conduct regular inspections of parking meters and ensure proper functionality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in customer service or law enforcement preferred.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field.
- Familiarity with local parking regulations and enforcement practices.
- Proficient in using electronic devices for reporting and record-keeping.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
