Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Monitor recreational areas to ensure the safety of all participants and respond to emergencies as required.
- Administer first aid and emergency care to individuals in distress, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of recreational facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards.
- Provide education and awareness to participants regarding safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and medical treatments provided during shifts.
- Collaborate with local emergency services and management to ensure effective response strategies.
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development to stay current with industry best practices.
- Assist in the implementation of safety programs and initiatives to promote a safe recreational environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education in emergency care preferred.
- Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and Outdoor Emergency Care.
- Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols and safety regulations.
- Proven experience in a similar role within outdoor recreational settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with participants and team members.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Physical fitness to perform duties effectively in various outdoor environments.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
