- Collaborate with musicians and music educators to understand their tuning preferences and requirements.
- Keep detailed records of tuning sessions, repairs, and maintenance performed on each instrument.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in organ tuning and repair.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with services rendered.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tuning and repairing organs or similar keyboard instruments.
- Strong understanding of organ mechanics, acoustics, and electronic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent auditory skills and attention to detail for precise tuning.
- Certification in musical instrument repair or a related field is preferred.
