Job Brief
The Nuclear Steam Supply System Engineer plays a critical role in the design, analysis, and operation of nuclear steam supply systems within the nuclear energy sector. Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development for nuclear engineering projects related to steam supply systems.
- Analyze and optimize nuclear system designs to improve efficiency and safety.
- Apply principles of nuclear science to solve complex engineering problems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols in all engineering processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the performance of nuclear systems.
- Develop and implement strategies for effective nuclear waste disposal and management.
- Evaluate the performance of existing systems and recommend modifications or upgrades.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports detailing project findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in nuclear engineering with a focus on steam supply systems.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with thermal-hydraulic analysis and system modeling software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience with nuclear waste management practices is a plus.
