Responsibilities

- Synchronize soundtracks with visuals, ensuring audio quality and clarity.
- Utilize industry-standard video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
- Implement color correction and visual effects to enhance the overall aesthetic of the film.
- Maintain organized archives of footage and project files for easy access during the editing process.
- Review and incorporate feedback from directors and producers to refine edits.
- Stay updated on current industry trends and editing techniques to enhance skills and creativity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Movie Editor or in a similar role within the film or video production industry.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer).
- Strong understanding of film production processes, including pre-production and post-production workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen sense of timing and pacing in editing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with directors and producers.
- Knowledge of visual effects and color grading techniques is a plus.
- A degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field is preferred.
