Job Brief
The Molding Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of production and operating workers in the molding department. This position requires hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, particularly in molding operations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, including machine operators, assemblers, and inspectors.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines and production targets.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product specifications are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Provide training and support to team members on operational processes and safety practices.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Document and report on production metrics, worker performance, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or conflicts that may arise within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, specifically in molding operations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on motivation and performance improvement.
- Ability to analyze production data and implement process optimizations.
