Job Brief
As a Mine Car Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of railroad rolling stock, including mine cars and mass transit rail cars. Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical failures in mine cars, railroad rolling stock, and mass transit rail cars.

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to execute repairs effectively.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address design issues and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the field or shop.
- Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mine Car Mechanic or in a similar mechanical repair role.
- Strong knowledge of railroad rolling stock systems and mass transit rail car components.
- Technical certification in automotive or mechanical repair preferred.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
