- Maintain detailed and accurate records of interviews and eligibility determinations.
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to facilitate access to necessary resources.
- Stay updated on changes in Medicare policies and regulations to ensure informed decision-making.
- Address and resolve applicant inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in social work, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in social services, healthcare, or a related area.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with government assistance programs and eligibility criteria.
- Proficient in data entry and management, with experience using case management software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in eligibility determination or social services is a plus.
