Job Brief
As a Material Handling Crew Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of material handling staff, including helpers, laborers, and material movers. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of material handling crews to ensure efficient operations.

- Train and mentor team members on best practices in material handling and equipment operation.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate documentation of received and dispatched materials.
- Schedule and manage staff shifts to optimize labor efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of material handling equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Resolve operational issues and address employee concerns promptly to maintain team morale.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or material handling is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or material handling environment.
- Strong understanding of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in material handling.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
