Job Brief
The Master Fire Control Technician is responsible for the precision targeting and operational maintenance of advanced weapon systems utilized in ground and aerial defense operations. This role requires extensive experience in artillery, missile systems, and sophisticated targeting technology. Key skills include proficiency in weapons systems management, communication systems, and routine operational inspections, ensuring effective engagement of enemy positions, aircraft, and naval vessels.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain advanced weapons targeting and firing systems, including guns, cannons, missiles, and torpedoes.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and inspection of ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes to ensure readiness for deployment.
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on all related weaponry and communication equipment.
- Establish and maintain effective radio and wire communications for operational coordination.
- Analyze and interpret targeting data to support accurate fire missions against enemy assets.
- Train and supervise junior team members in weapon system operation and maintenance protocols.
- Document maintenance activities and operational readiness of weapon systems for compliance with military standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire control systems and artillery operations.
- Technical proficiency with missile systems, cannons, and automated targeting systems.
- Strong understanding of military communication protocols and procedures.
- Ability to perform under high-pressure environments and make quick decisions during operations.
- Certification in weapon system operation and maintenance is preferred.
