Job Brief

As a Masonry Contractor Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in planning, directing, and coordinating construction activities related to masonry projects. You will oversee project development from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgetary and scheduling constraints while managing subordinate supervisory personnel. This position requires a strong background in construction management, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of masonry techniques and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of masonry construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and mentor subordinate supervisory staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure project alignment and progress.
  • Evaluate and implement innovative masonry techniques and materials to enhance project outcomes and sustainability.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in masonry construction management or administration, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
