Job Brief
The Marine Engineering Technician plays a critical role in the design, maintenance, and repair of marine vessels and offshore structures. Responsibilities

- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to enhance marine operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform testing and evaluation of marine systems before commissioning.
- Support the implementation of energy-efficient practices in marine engineering.
Requirements
- Associate degree or diploma in Marine Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in marine engineering or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of marine propulsion systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with marine safety regulations and environmental compliance.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., STCW, ABYC) are a plus.
