Job Brief
The Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Planner plays a critical role in managing the operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for coordinating air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires extensive experience in military operations, strategic planning, and emergency response management. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, technical knowledge of military systems, and the ability to effectively communicate across various military branches and agencies.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure operational efficiency.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters, ensuring preparedness and rapid response.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies, facilitating seamless collaboration in high-stakes environments.
- Evaluate command center information to assess the need for high-level military and government reporting.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems, enhancing situational awareness for mission success.
- Provide technical information and advice regarding capabilities and operational readiness of military systems.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to optimize firepower and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Strategic Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience in military planning, operations management, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of military communication systems, detection devices, and weaponry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Familiarity with emergency management protocols and crisis response strategies.
- Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with various military and governmental stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in military operations or emergency management are preferred.
