Job Brief
The Locker Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of locker rooms, dressing rooms, and coatrooms, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patrons. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service to effectively manage staff and address customer needs. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in facility management or hospitality and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operations of locker rooms, dressing rooms, and coatrooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Supervise and train locker room staff, providing guidance on customer service best practices.
- Assist patrons with personal items, ensuring safe and efficient handling of belongings.
- Monitor locker room inventory, including towels and toiletries, and order supplies as needed.
- Implement and enforce facility policies to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all users.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of locker rooms to maintain high standards of hygiene and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate services and improve overall facility operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a facility or hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patrons and staff.
- Ability to handle conflict and provide effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to public facilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for reporting and inventory management.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred but not required.
