Job Brief
As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in recreational areas such as pools, beaches, and ski slopes. Responsibilities
- Monitor recreational areas to ensure the safety of all participants.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform regular surveillance of designated areas to identify potential hazards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed.
- Conduct swim tests and assist in swim instruction when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool or beach area.
- Communicate effectively with guests and provide assistance with inquiries.
- Attend regular training sessions to stay updated on safety protocols and lifeguard techniques.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid lifeguard certification (e.g., CPR, First Aid, AED).
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety practices.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform lifeguarding duties.
- Experience in a lifeguarding or recreational environment is preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
