Job Brief
As a Lacing Operator, you will play a critical role in the footwear manufacturing process by operating various machines to join, decorate, reinforce, and finish shoes and shoe components. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain lacing machines to ensure efficient production of footwear.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Assemble shoe components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to design specifications.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies to supervisory staff.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Lacing Operator or similar role in the footwear manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with sewing and lacing machinery and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
