Job Brief

As a Knitter Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain specialized textile machinery to knit, loop, weave, or draw in fabrics. Responsibilities

  • Set up knitting machines according to specifications and production requirements.
  • Operate and monitor multiple knitting machines to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on knitting equipment.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and quality assurance compliance.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and machine performance records.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and reduce downtime.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in textile manufacturing is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Knitter Operator or in a similar textile production role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machinery.
  • Knowledge of fabric properties and knitting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
