Job Brief
As a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), you will play a critical role in managing the operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for coordinating air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires extensive experience in military tactics and communication systems, with a strong emphasis on formulating and implementing emergency plans for both natural and wartime disasters. Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces, ensuring effective coordination during operations.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios, focusing on rapid response and resource allocation.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies to streamline operations and enhance situational awareness.
- Evaluate command center information for high-level military and government reporting, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems, ensuring optimal functionality and readiness.
- Provide technical information and advice on capabilities, limitations, and operational readiness to support mission objectives.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure accurate and timely engagement of targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller or in a similar military role.
- Strong knowledge of air, ground, and naval operations, including tactics and procedures.
- Certification as a JTAC or equivalent military qualification.
- Proficiency in operating advanced communication and weapons systems.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills under high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various military and governmental agencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and briefing.
