Job Brief
The Joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Reconnaissance System Operator (JCBRNRS) LAV Operator plays a critical role in tactical military operations by employing advanced reconnaissance systems to detect and identify hazardous materials. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Light Armored Vehicles (LAV) equipped with reconnaissance systems for CBRN detection.
- Conduct thorough reconnaissance missions to identify chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.
- Analyze and report findings to command personnel to inform operational decisions.
- Collaborate with other military units and agencies to ensure comprehensive threat assessments.
- Participate in training exercises to enhance readiness and effectiveness in CBRN reconnaissance operations.
- Maintain operational readiness of equipment and vehicles through regular inspections and maintenance.
- Utilize advanced communication systems to relay critical information during missions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and military regulations to mitigate risks during operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training in CBRN operations preferred.
- Proven experience in tactical military operations and reconnaissance missions.
- Technical proficiency in operating and maintaining LAV and CBRN detection equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in high-stress environments.
- Certification in CBRN operations and safety protocols is advantageous.
- Ability to pass physical fitness and medical requirements for military service.
- Willingness to work in diverse and challenging environments, including potential combat zones.
