Responsibilities
- Recruit and source candidates through various channels, including job boards, networking events, and social media.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
- Conduct interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit for organizations.
- Facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the job search process, including resume writing and interview preparation.
- Maintain and update candidate and employer databases for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers to understand their staffing needs and organizational culture.
- Monitor industry trends and job market conditions to advise candidates and employers effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or job placement roles.
- Strong knowledge of labor market trends and workforce development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with candidates and employers.
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications and match them with job requirements.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple placements simultaneously.
- Certification in recruitment or human resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
