- Prepare cases for administrative or legal proceedings as necessary, presenting evidence and supporting documentation.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance on tax matters to taxpayers and internal staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in tax auditing, accounting, or a relevant financial role.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, EA) are preferred but not mandatory.
