Job Brief
As an Interior Decorator, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and furnishing the internal spaces of residential or commercial buildings. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional requirements for interior spaces.
- Conduct site assessments and develop design concepts that align with client objectives and budget constraints.
- Create detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, and 3D renderings to visualize design concepts.
- Select color schemes, materials, furnishings, and decor that enhance the aesthetic appeal and usability of spaces.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient execution of design projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovations to provide cutting-edge design solutions.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals to implement design plans effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the design process, ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Decorator, with a portfolio showcasing previous design projects.
- Strong knowledge of design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with building regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Certification from a recognized interior design association is a plus.
