We are seeking a dedicated Architecture Professor to join our academic team, specializing in architectural education and design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in areas such as architectural environmental design, interior architecture/design, and landscape architecture. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging curriculum and course materials in architecture and architectural design.
- Guide and mentor students in their design projects, promoting creative problem-solving and critical analysis.
- Conduct research in architectural theory and practice, contributing to scholarly publications and conferences.
- Collaborate with faculty and industry professionals to enhance the academic program.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committee work and student advising.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Stay current with trends and advancements in architecture and design education.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience at the university level, with a strong portfolio of architectural work.
- Familiarity with contemporary architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Demonstrated research experience with a focus on architectural innovation and sustainability.
