Job Brief

As an A&P Mechanic, you will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul aircraft engines and related assemblies, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This role requires extensive knowledge of aviation maintenance practices, as well as hands-on experience with aircraft systems. Ideal candidates will possess strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety and compliance in an FAA-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical issues in aircraft engines and assemblies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify defects or malfunctions in aircraft components.
  • Overhaul aircraft engines and assemblies, maintaining adherence to FAA regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
  • Collaborate with other aviation professionals to ensure effective problem resolution and aircraft safety.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to assess the condition of aircraft systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to aircraft maintenance.

Requirements

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Proven experience working as an A&P Mechanic or in a similar aircraft maintenance role.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft mechanical systems, components, and maintenance practices.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report on maintenance findings.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
