Job Brief
The AOC Plans Master Air Attack Planning Chief is responsible for the comprehensive management of communications, detection, and weapons systems crucial for effective air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in military operations and crisis management, adept at formulating emergency plans, coordinating response teams, and overseeing surveillance and targeting systems to ensure operational readiness and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operational coordination.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios to enhance response capabilities.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies to ensure efficient and timely operations during crises.
- Evaluate command center information and provide high-level military and government reporting as needed.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness and operational readiness.
- Provide technical information and advice regarding capabilities, system performance, and operational readiness.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Defense Studies, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations, air attack planning, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of air, naval, and ground operational dynamics and communication systems.
- Expertise in crisis management, emergency planning, and multi-agency coordination.
- Proficiency in the operation of surveillance, detection, and weapons systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Relevant certifications in military operations or crisis management are a plus.
