The AOC Plans Master Air Attack Planning Assistant Chief is responsible for overseeing the seamless operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for controlling air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure effective operational integration.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters, ensuring readiness and rapid response.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies to facilitate efficient disaster management and recovery efforts.
- Evaluate command center information to determine the need for high-level military and government reporting.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness and operational readiness.
- Provide technical information and advice on capabilities and operational readiness to senior leadership.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
- Conduct training and exercises to enhance team performance and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in military operations or a related field, with a focus on air, ground, and naval integration.
- Strong knowledge of communication systems, detection technologies, and weapons operations.
- Exceptional leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Proficient in emergency management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with military command and control systems and reporting protocols.
- Technical certification in relevant military systems or emergency management is preferred.
