Job Brief

The AOC Plans Intelligence Officer Chief plays a critical role in managing the operational integrity of communications, detection, and weapons systems that are essential for coordinating air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires extensive experience in military operations, strategic planning, and emergency management, along with strong leadership skills to oversee the development and implementation of emergency response plans. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of surveillance systems and the technical acumen to provide actionable intelligence and operational readiness assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure effective operational coordination.
  • Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios, ensuring preparedness and swift response.
  • Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies, facilitating seamless collaboration during crisis situations.
  • Evaluate command center information and determine the need for high-level military and government reporting.
  • Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
  • Provide technical information and expert advice on capabilities and operational readiness to senior leadership.
  • Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with operational protocols and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Strategic Studies, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in military operations, intelligence analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of military communication systems and weapons operations.
  • Proven experience in emergency management and crisis response strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with surveillance and detection technologies, including radar and satellite systems.
  • Relevant certifications in military operations, emergency management, or intelligence analysis are a plus.
