Job Brief
As a Time Sensitive / Critical Targeting Officer in AOC Operations, you will oversee the management and integration of communications, detection, and weapons systems crucial for the effective coordination of air, ground, and naval operations. This role demands a high level of expertise in emergency planning and response coordination, along with the ability to evaluate command center information for military and government reporting. Candidates should possess extensive experience in surveillance system operations, technical advisory, and weapons targeting systems, with a strong focus on maintaining operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operational effectiveness.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for both natural and wartime disasters, prioritizing rapid response and recovery.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies to enhance situational awareness and response capabilities.
- Evaluate command center information and provide high-level military and government reporting as necessary.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of surveillance and detection systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical information and expert advice regarding capabilities and operational readiness of systems and personnel.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems, ensuring precision and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the integration of operations and improve mission outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Defense Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience in military operations, particularly in command and control environments.
- Strong knowledge of air, ground, and naval operational strategies and technologies.
- Expertise in emergency management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with surveillance and detection systems, as well as weapons targeting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, capable of working under pressure.
- Relevant certifications in military operations, emergency management, or related fields are preferred.
