The AOC Operations Special Operations Officer plays a critical role in managing the operations of communications, detection, and weapons systems that are vital for controlling air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operational coordination.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters, enhancing readiness and response capabilities.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies, ensuring effective collaboration during crisis situations.
- Evaluate command center information and assess the need for high-level military and government reporting.
- Operate and manage surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness and operational readiness.
- Provide technical information and expert advice on capabilities and operational readiness to senior command personnel.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems, ensuring precision and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as military science, operations management, or engineering.
- Proven experience in military operations, particularly in command and control environments.
- Extensive knowledge of communication and surveillance systems, as well as weapons targeting technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex operational scenarios.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with experience in coordinating diverse teams and agencies.
- Certification in emergency management or related fields is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in high-stress situations.
